A stunning new-build home based in Cliddesden, Hampshire, that began as a true blank canvas. Our brief was to bring colour, warmth, and personality into each space, transforming the clean slate into a characterful modern farmhouse retreat. With a thoughtfully curated palette and inviting textures, we infused the property with a welcoming charm and effortless wow factor.
'Having never used an interior designer before this was a complete new experience for Lisa and I.
Gemma was tasked with designing the whole house, colours for each room, curtains, soft furnishings, literally everything from a blank canvas. The main difficulty for Gemma was I love bright vibrant colours and Lisa likes neutrals, so Gemma had to find some middle ground. Lisa was apprehensive with Gemma’s initial colour palette as strong bold dark colours complimented by sand coloured curtains? But once decorated throughout Gemma absolutely smashed it. The house has a completely different feel to it now, it’s so so cool, modern, but in a very retro cool vibe! We both absolutely love it and admit Gemma chose colours and soft furnishings that we would have never of gone for!
Totally proud of the house which has a warm cosy family home with friends and family all commenting on how fantastic it looks. Gemma is now going to be tasked with designing a new villa that’s going to be built next year! We both have total faith in her. Thanks again Gemma for all your efforts.'
